Yep. That's me.
![]() | You scored as Couch Potato Cat. Decorative pillow? No, that'd be you sitting on the couch, even still. Hmm. . . I'm guessing you have Web TV.

What a day, what an hour
Right. So.
Have no illusions. I am not back.
But hopefully, I will be back soon on a more full time basis. *fingers crossed*
First of all, I got a cold. It's not a very nice cold, and coupled with the fact that it's brilliantly gorgeous weather out (except for today), I found myself in another circle of hell that I never knew existed.
However, having said cold helped me to expand my song-writing abilities.
I wrote a song about it. Like to hear it? Here it go:
I love Codeine,
Yes, I do.
I love Codeine
How about you?
I love Codeine
Why, you ask?
Becuase it kicked my bad cold's ass
Thank you, thankyouverymuch
Lots have been happening lately, and there's too much backchat to go into to explain it all here, so I'll just pretend like you all know what's going on, and you can just try to catch up. Kinda like when you miss that one episode of Desperate Housewives then the next week you're like 'Eh?! WHAT THE..?!'
The flat is excellent...Frodo and Svenska and I have been getting along smashingly...
We did hold a rather large housewarming a couple weeks back, whereupon, no less than 100 people were in and out of the flat during the night...and just when I dared to breath a sigh of relief at 430am and nothing major had been broken, we heard a crash from the bathroom, and the Super Flatmates all arrived at the door to the bathroom with a sense of dreading and curiousity.
One of our houseguests had lost his balance and crashed into the shower door.
Yes. Crashed.
Yes. Glass everywhere.
Yes, we have no shower door.
First order of business was making sure he wasn't cut too badly, and then we all mourned the loss of the shower door.
Other than that, the party was a success. The guitarist from Captain Beefheart was there, and PJ Harvey was meant to show, but never did. Not that I could entirely blame her.
At any rate, the party was great, and I found myself watching the sun come up at 3am with my friends, and having tea with Loki and Colinopolos at 6am.
Cleaning up the next day wasn't that fun, so I won't discuss it.
Back to the now...RB and Drokka are in town (or the country, at least), and Loki and I got to meet up with them for drinks and dinner. This friday, they will be my guests at the Flat Fantastico for dinner before they had back over the pond.
They brought me Twinkies (yum) and Tootsie Roll Pops (courtesy of Debbie, thank you!).
The cold is almost finished, and just in time, as tomorrow I'm singing in a benefit...ha. You'll get more details after it's over with...should be interesting...
Hope everyone is well...
x
