It's all so Faxin' tense...

Faxed the forms for our refrence check for the new flat....

We are now into real panic mode about whether we get it OK. We NEED this flat, I've been fantisising about how grand it is - how it just suits my pretentions. I'm planning a dinner party when we move in - a Cantonese feast for all our friends. Any recepies would be greatly appreciated.

Also excited about Calima's project as i love pizza and it gives us the opportunity to have a regular social event for all the gang!

I'm gonna be doin some reviews on HCReviews soon - hope they are enlightening - it'll just be my jaded opinions on whatever takes my fancy but i promise I'll try to keep it entertaining!

I'll be posting a big update on my theatre work soon - for those who may be interested in what struggling actors get up to in Scotland. Any other actors out there, say hi!

kisses n stuff.

Nervous, excited actor...

"The premises are so delightfully extensive, that two people might live together without ever seeing, hearing or meeting."
-Lord Byron

Calima and I have found a flat.

It's INCREDIBLE!!!

We went to view it today and fell in love with it immediately. On entering, we were stunned by the size (it's as big as the entire top floor of the building we live in now) and how beautiful it its, too. It has views over Queens Park (a very large, tree-filled parkland) and is exactly in the area where we wanted to live.

We put down the deposit right there. The guy showing us the flat drove us to the bank so Calima could take out lots of cash and I paid with what I was carrying on me (Actors like to keep large amounts on them in order to appear wealthier than they are - The More You Know!) Plus we got to ride in his flashy BMW convertable with the top down on a sunny day!

Now we have to wait and see if we pass a reference check (that's why I'm nervous-Actors always fail these; we're unreliable, you see!)

Plus we're getting a new flatmate! A friend from the Tron, whom I shall call Sweden (she's Swedish and that's what Princess calls her) is going to be moving in with us - we love Sweden, she's cute and funny and fits with my rule of only living with hot girls!

Cross your fingers for us - we want that flat!

Laughing my ass off...

"What are you gonna make me do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? 'Cause I'm married."
Peter Griffin

Which Family Guy character are you?

I love Family Guy.

So should you.

Excited actor...

"I am very concerned about our national heritage, and I am very concerned that the films that I watched when I was young and the films that I watched throughout my life are preserved, so that my children can see them."
George Lucas on the colorization of B&W films but not the bastardization of his.

I'm really, REALLY looking forward to going to the cinema over the next coupla months. There's a lot of great-looking movies coming out;
Hitch-Hikers Guide To The Galaxy - one of my fav books (a trilogy in 5 parts!) and looking to be a fab film.
Charlie And The Chocolate Factory - Johnny Depp + Tim Burton = Coolness.
Batman Begins - Christian Bale as Batman, how can it be bad?
Serenity - If you never watched Firefly, go buy the DVD box set at once!
Fantastic Four - cos i love comic books and the trailer looks relly fun.
And, of course, Revenge of the Sith - even though Mr. Lucas has kicked me in the balls twice now the trailer has still got me excited. Please don't let me down, George!

Yup! I love the cinema!

I've done a little movie work in my time, before I got snobbish and decided to stick to theatre. Nothing big and certainly nothing anyone would have seen (Pasty Faces, anyone? - i wasn't even credited) Oh, and a few commercials.
I guess I'm a long way from that Oscar.

On my life; All is going well, Calima and I are still flat-hunting (we saw a really grubby one the other day) and my love-life remains quiet but comfortable. I'm interviewing directors for Little Shop of Horrors next week and i've been relaxing for the last few days and watching lots of DVDs.

Oh. Went to Tryptich at the Tron last night and got very, very drunk and laughed a lot at one of the bands who were all so drunk they couldn't play a whole song - the bassist dropped his guitar at one point!

Weather is still nice - Glasgow is lovely in the spring!
