Pearls of Wisdom:
-Senioritis - noun - A crippling disease that strikes [college] seniors. Symptoms include: laziness, an over-excessive wearing of track pants, old athletic shirts, sweatpants, athletic shorts, and sweatshirts. Also features a lack of studying, repeated absences, and a generally dismissive attitude. The only known cure is a phenomenon known as Graduation.

While not the most productive weekend in regards to homework, it was still a good one. Did most of my work today. Cleaned up my room quite a bit, vacuumed in there, unjammed the paper shredder (again), shredded the pile of papers that's been sitting on my floor for 2 months (waiting for Brother Unit to un-jam the shredder), put away all my spring clothes, did laundry, cursed at my old washing machine, cheered that my brother bought a new one, sighed that it won't be delivered for a week, transplanted my plants from last year, prayed that I didn't kill the poor grape tomatoes when I separated them and planted them, watered everything (not as simple as it sounds, no outdoor water source), plotted how I was going to use the weeds in the backyard as food this upcoming week (lots of dandelions and burdock), finished my Tai Chi paper, and am now knocking out my remaining chem pre-labs. I really meant to take a shower at some point in there but I didn't leave the house so it's all good, right? Right?

Anyway, I'm currently working on the pre-lab for Enzymes. It's kinds wigging me out to think that in a week I have to take my chem final. Eeeek. I'm also worried about my friend's wedding which is the evening before this final. I appreciate that my friend has to work but, my God, it's your WEDDING, Man!! WTF? They just couldn't give you a Saturday? Well, I know that's not all of it. Our friend, on whom's property the wedding is taking place, will not be available Saturday either. He also has to work. (He works at an under-staffed nursing home.Very little if any time off.) It's still frustrating for me because I want to support my friend but I'm not sure if I'd be able to pull it off. He also got a flat yesterday and I can only hope he can knock out enough money to get it replaced in time. It's a 2.5 hour drive to the property.

The other thing I'm fretting about is a project I took on close to the start of this quarter thinking I'd have time to work on it. I don't. I don't think I'll get it done by the deadline. It's going to be too hard with all the other graduation obligations I have. (Speaking of those, there's one more I need to find the date/time for.) Unless I bust it out over finals week, I don't think it'll happen. It won't be a video at this point. That's for certain. I was soooo looking forward to doing this too. It was going to be so much fun. I'm just not motivated to do anything that remotely appears to be homework.
