you know it's a bad day at work when you are repeating a mantra like this:

this is my job.
this is what i do for money
this is what puts a roof over your head
this is what puts food on your table.
leaving now would cause you more problems.

so, the store was robbed about a week ago. my general manager suffers from post traumatic stress disorder. coming to work for him, is clearly a battle.
i feel for him, and for the people who were here during it. (it was after close one morning) not my shift, and i was in columbus on the day that it happened.

his last day is the 13th of august, and more than likely, boy wonder will be taking his spot. i should be happy that i don't intend on being there past the end of august.

i had a little bout with low blood sugar on monday and i decided that was my cue to look up what i'm missing in my diet (don't be smart and say meat dairy and egg or ill kick your ass) nutritionally. since i've been working my ass off lately, and working out a lot more, (i'm either gonna do a triathlon or walkathon next year) and i'm trying to get conditioned.
the articles i read about vegan athlets suprisingly didn't advocate mass quantities of protein. i should be getting about 45-60 grams of protein. the real suprise was carbs. so today i experimented and added more carbs, and there was a definate difference. I was much more alert today, and even though it was truck day for the first three hours of work, and the seven hours following should be titled 'run linda ragged', I didn't feel like collapsing at the end of the day.

I am in the process of backing up my computer. it seems that the brat is ready to dump on me. very bad timing. i wonder if D can come up with a stuck up name for my computer. so now i went through and deleted a whole bunch of stuff, but my computer still says 'its getting full' so i think with the wipe, i'll buy more memory. fun fun fun.

I think you're missing meat-esque, dairy-esque, and egg-esque.
