No more Drama

The worst part is over. The bulk of my belongings is now in my
storage unit. It's a huge weight off my shoulders. I am glad I
decided to move the big stuff first and then a small load last.
I can focus on getting the menial cleaning stuff done.

I have court on Monday morning. Pre trial for the guy who broke
into my car in Feb... I think. Where is the right to a speedy trial?

So... he ummmm... pleaded NOT GUILTY. CAN YOU FRICKIN'
BELIEVE THAT?

We caught him.
The police went into where he was living and removed my
belongings.

At first, I was like, Oh, just get him some help... la la la. Now I'm
thinking, this guy has no remorse. And he wouldn't. He's so
tweaked on crack he doesn't care about anything but his next
fix. The police found 2 crack pipes on him. I don't want any
money because I don't believe there's any to be gotten from it.

He's the next step to homeless.

I'll either be leaving Dayton on Monday evening, or early Tuesday
morning. Don't know. I'll be playing it by ear.

I'm so relieved to have the majority done.

OH! THANK GOD, THEY RESCUED THE DOG NEXT DOOR! That's
been breaking my heart for the last month.

Long story short: They were supposed to
move in almost a month ago. They haven't moved in because they can't
afford to pay to have the power turned on. They've put the dog in the
basement (no light) and haven't checked up on it enough to feed it. They
went away for a whole week, and the kids *KNEW* that the dog didn't
have food... that "was okay because it still has meat on it's bones."
Well, they went and got food for it, but only fed it a large bowl... and
haven't been back. Today, I noticed that the bag of food that they had
bought was STILL SITTING ON THEIR FRONT PORCH... that means for
certain that they haven't fed the dog. I've been listening to it howl and
wimper, and it's been breaking my heart.

That's not all. They left a 6 week old kitten in a cardboard box, turned
upside down in another cardboard box... and it was crying... and I
rescued it. The woman was supposed to come back the next day for the
kitten. Nope. She came 1 time in the 2.5 week period. When I told her
that I couldn't take care of the kitten, she said she was going to put it
in that box and put it inside the house....

I paid 10 bucks day before yesterday for the shelter to take the kitten. With her
being so young, I was comforted to know that she had a fantastic chance
of adoption. We nicknamed the kitty Drama because everything surrounding
her was such a big drama, and because she had such a big mouth.
MEEEEEEEEEEOWWWWWWW

ever notice that the word ME is at the beginning of every MEOW?

So, that is a huge relief to my heart. Though, I miss the little kitten. Vicious
as she was.
