I gave my speech. I think I did OK. I am not very happy about the psychology test.
I don't know what grade I got on it. I am hoping that I didn't do hideously. I am beginning to have a serious problem with TA's teaching the 100 level courses. 3 out of 5 of my classes are TA's and two of them are awful.
One of them at least follow the book, but when the psych 'teacher' hands out a study guide and says be familiar with and understand those things written on the paper.... then you go and study specifically those things, and become familiar with how they work, even down to the chemical compositions of it.... and the test is actually about the psychology research studies applying to those terms, and not specifically about the terms... well, that pisses me off.
I would bitch more about it, but I gotta go study for my speech exam on monday.
The ceramics teacher had mercy on me and let me borrow her handle making tools. I can make a bowl, a cup, a vase, a platter... almost anything you want on the wheel.... *but* I can not make handles. I was never good at them. And because my wheel technique is so good, my poor handles look all the more hideous on them. So, the teacher has had mercy upon me and let me use two of her tools, and I now must purchase them. I love them and I was able to make handles that passed today. *sweet*
I'd like everyone to work with me on the next part. Let us start calling this financial shit storm "The Bush Repression" Sorta half recession- half depression, and putting it on the would be dictator.... where it squarely belongs and maybe we can avoid the rewriting of history that is happening.
