No, it's not swine flu, but it's probably swine related. My pork allergy is the culprit that has me awake at 3:30 a.m. I had a biscuit with egg and cheese for lunch on Monday, and now I'm paying for it. This used to happen at Wendy's all the time. Someone would make my food that had just made something with bacon, and then I would get sick. My stomach sounds like one of those noise making sticks that you turn upside down and it makes a deep, weird noise... only more gurgling. I'm awake and waiting, and just hoping that if I have to hurl, I can get it out of the way already, brush my teeth get back to bed.
Anyhow, I'm quite reflective and think that I now remember why I first went vegan. I wish I'd never gone back to eating cheese (dairy for calcium) and seafood (for omega 3's) which my doctor said I needed for cellular generation to help my back heal.
I'm seriously debating returning to that as I am now absolutely miserable on a multitude of levels surrounding this issue.
