Surprise!
It's been a really long time since I've blogged last (well at least here it has been). Life has been busy what can I say.
My daughter Sarah graduated from high school in early June and is attending The University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire this fall... same University I attended for a short time oh so long ago. She plans on majoring in Animal Science (veterinary medicine, or animal genetics).
My son Dan received his private pilots license on his 21st birthday this past May. He spends his time (and my money lol) flying all over the place accumulating flight time (he needs over 200 hours) in the hopes of eventually getting a commercial pilots license so he can fly the really BIG planes.
I'm still working September through June with summers, nights and weekends off (tough to take I know). Good thing too because I'll be hopping a commercial flight tomorrow to fly to Cincinnati for my new favorite author (Janet Evanovich) book signing. It pays to have a son working for one of the major airlines... you get to fly for free!
I played with the AVB to a packed house (2200+) in a spectacular concert at the Weidner Center for The Performing Arts this past Monday. It was truly a humbling and memorable experience. I now know what it's like being a performer on stage and facing an audience of significant size... terrifying! I wonder if I'd get use to it through sheer repetition... I don't know.
Mr. Wonderful (hubby) Dave is still working hard at optometry and in his spare time fishes, reads, and works around the house... you get the picture. It would be nice if Dave and I could get away for a weekend in the north woods camping but all of our weekends are booked clear through the end of July... bummer. Well there's always August I guess.
Well that's about it for now. It's time to get serious and get motivated to pack for tomorrow's trip. Take care and until next time ta ta!

Hope you had a good time at the book signing!
And congrats to you and your family for all your successes.
