Some Like It Hot
Taking a few days and heading off to the Door County Peninsula for some quality family time. Of course the temperatures are due to top out somewhere near 90 degrees F. I swear everytime I pack my bags to go camping the temperature rises. Some people enjoy hot, humid weather. They enjoy reveling in their own sweat. They're nuts. I'm not one of them. Give me high 70's, and low humidity and I'm a happy camper. Guess I'll park a chair under a tree, glass of ice tea in one hand, a good book in the other and hang tough. I'll console myself with the knowledge that it's only 4 days before I can seek the comfort of my air conditioned home.

Right as Rain
OK you may now comment if you'd like. dxx has gone and fixed my wee problem and things should work right as rain. Still not clear if it was just an oversight on her part or if I did in fact screw things up trying to download the template I'm using. Of course I'd never point fingers, but I'm hoping it was dxx forgetting to set the security code, not my ineptness with my computer. Wishful thinking wanting to believe that for once I figured things out and actually got my blog to look this way. Nothing fancy, but it's my own, my precioussssss...

Looking Good
So far, so good! I didn't blow up the blog as anticipated. I did however forget to save the link which involved some back tracking on my part. Blonde of me I know. I'm thinking of taking a web design class through the local technical college. It's fairly inexpensive and would give me insight into the subtle nuances of web design which in turn I could apply to my blogs. Not that it would be a career choice for me. I'm not that creative. It would however explain some things such as templates and how the heck to use them. Still not quite sure how I finally managed to get all those gobble de gook html codes on this page to look as they do now. Had something to do with clearing the browser cashe I think. Some things shall always remain a mystery to me.

A Heavenly Creature at Last
This being my maiden voyage entry as a heavenly creature, I'd like to wish you all a heartfelt welcome. It took me forever to figure out how to get the blessed template to stick. I almost gave up and went running to dxx for help. Oh to be computer savvy. *rolls eyes* Learned a new trick. I learned how to empty my browser cache. It's the little things that fascinate I guess. I suppose I've so totally messed with all the template settings this poor blog doesn't stand a chance. I'm sure I've screwed up the archiving, posting, settings, or something along those lines. I couldn't be that lucky not to have done some damage while I played with all those confusing settings. Oh well I'll post this and if it doesn't blow up the blog up it's all good, right?
