TGIF
I should be thankful right? It's been a long week. The weekend doesn't look good for much rest or relaxation though. It's going to be busy, busy. A little reading time would be nice. I'm in the midst the Outlander series having nearly finished my fourth Diana Gabaldon book, Drums of Autumn. Can't wait to get to the next one. Her latest book, A Breath of Snow and Ashes, was released a few weeks ago. That makes a total of 6 books in the series. Can't wait to read them all! Thank you so much d~ for introducing me to them!

Virtual Wave
It sure has been quiet on the forums and in chat as of late. Not sure where everyone is. Maybe it's just a case of real life intruding upon everyone's computer time I'm not sure. I know I'm as guilty as the next person. I haven't been around much lately myself. Sorry about that. I miss you guys! So if you see me logged in somewhere be sure and give me a virtual wave. I'd love to touch bases with you again for old time sake.

Where The Wild Things Are
Found out today that there's a black bear roaming about the neighborhood. I'm not in a particularly rural area so this comes as a surprise. Guess I'll give up any idea of walking at night for awhile that's for sure. I don't begrudge Mr. bear a place to roam, but I'd prefer he'd take his rambling somewhere else. Maybe it's tracking the group of wild turkeys I saw today. Thanksgiving is a ways off but I suppose he'll be hibernating by then. Maybe he has an early holiday celebration in mind I don't know. I hope he hibernates soon.

Lazy Day
Today I did absolutely nothing! Not that there weren't things to do, but hey who cares I needed some time off. Finally sat down and watched National Treasure. Better late then never. It was ok. Glad I didn't pay movie theater prices to see it though. Definitely a rental. Still have two episodes of 'Lost' to watch but tomorrow is another day. With no football game scheduled I should have plenty of time. I'm feeling a bit guilty that I didn't spend more time outdoors today. It was beautiful! Very mild weather for the 1st of October with temperatures near 80 degrees F. All I wanted to do was read a book and take a nap. I guess I should have done it on the deck instead of inside. Oh well, felt good just to do nothing no matter where it's done.
Monday night at rehearsal we decide on new uniform for the remainder of the concert season. Being the 25th (silver) anniversary of the AVB, the director wants to incorporate silver into the costume. Looks like it'll be a black tuxedo shirt, black pants or skirt, with silver neckties for the men and silver satin scarfs for the women. It'll look pretty sharp. It would be nice if our director could get a professional photo taken of the entire group in their new uniforms so it can be displayed in the theater entrance on concert nights. We'll see.
