Time Management

My daughter turned me on to a yahoo game called Text Twist and it's become an addiction. It's a game which involves cool wit, some quick thinking and a little bit of imagination thrown in for good measure. It's maddening. I spend way to much time playing it. Thank goodness I've never loaded the X-box or PS2 in the house. I can only imagine how addicting that might become! A little mindless game playing is fine once in awhile but sitting hour after hour in front of a screen with a controller in your hand just isn't healthy.
So far, so good on my New Years resolution. I'm consistently walking 40 minutes a day, 6 days a week. I walk about 3 miles a day. If I could have one wish though it would be to live in a subdivision where there aren't quite so many hills. It's alot of up and down which gets your heart rate going so I guess that's good. I lost 7 pounds in the first two weeks and that makes me happy. But I'd walk whether or not I lose weight because it makes me feel good. In fact if I don't walk I feel like crap both physically and psychologically. So on that note the sun is shining and it's going to warm into the 40's today so I think I'll walk! Take care all.

Scattered Thoughts

Wow my online blogging has really suffered as of late. Nothing much happening right now I guess... just the mundane. Oh wait! I found a dollar bill in my freezer today... talk about your cold cash. Have no idea how it got in there but maybe if I clean out the freezer I'll find more. How's that for incentive?
I still have my tree up from the holidays but it's artifical so no hurry taking it down. Besides my father-in-law said it looks like something out of Better Homes and Gardens so what's the rush. I like to look at it. I'll get to it this weekend unless I spend the entire time in chat catching up with some old friends.
Nothing like an all night chat with my online friends, a bottle of really good wine and a cheery fire in the fireplace to keep me warm. Hubby will be out of town and the kids are off doing their own thing so my time will be pretty much my own. I'm looking forward to the weekend already! Hope to see some of you then!
