Hint of Spring
Yes sir there's a hint of spring in the air and I'm loving it! The snow has gone and the grass has a wee green tinge to it. The sun feels warm on my skin and I know it's just a matter of time before I pull out my summer clothing from the back of the closet. Spring is in the air!
I've been carrying a book of Sudoku puzzles around with me. Damn those things are addictive! After I've worked a particularly frustrating puzzle I swear I'll never touch another one as long as I live. But in no time at all I'm right back at it! Stupid, stupid me!
Haven't heard if Debbie received her package yet. I sure hope she likes looking at a Scotsman's bum. heh I wrote a note telling her it's been nearly the one year anniversary of my trip to Scotland so it was about time I mailed her the package. Guess that makes me a major procrastinator don't you think?
Anyway, it's late and my day starts early so it's off to bed with me. Take care one and all!

hey y'all
Wow it's been way to long since I've visited here. I don't think I'm even going to attempt to fill in all the gaps since my last entry. Instead I'll concentrate on the here and now.
We have a curling bonspiel this weekend at our club. As usual I'll be heavily involved. At least this year I don't have the responsibility of having to cook the banquet dinner for Saturday night. Cooking for 100 people always makes me a little edgy. It's no wonder all the really good chefs have a glass of wine while preparing a meal. Last year I could have finished the bottle! This year I only have to worry about Saturday breakfast and Sunday lunch. Easy trade off.
In other news... had a bit of a scare Sunday evening. Had hubby into the hospital emergency room for chest pain. He was feeling uncomfortable all day with mild chest pain and pressure. He finally convinced himself to have it checked out. It turned out to be nothing but with him being in a moderate catagory for heart disease (high cholesterol and blood pressure) we didn't want to take any chances. All's well that ends well.
Loonchat will be celebrating it's third birthday this weekend. I'm hoping to make it in just to say hello if nothing else. I miss talking with d~ and Debbie (oh by the way Ms. Debbie if you're reading this I finally sent that package yay!) I'm still kicking around the idea of going to Toronto this summer. It would be great to hook up with d~ once again and if Debbie could make it that would be a definite bonus! Guess I should be making a commitment some time soon aye?
Well time to shower and dress for work. After that it's pretty much the curling club until late Sunday afternoon. If I make it into loonchat this weekend I hope I see you there. Take care and ta for now.
